Copy / Paste not available

This seems like I'm missing something obvious but I can't find it. I had PaintShop Pro x8 installed on my desktop, and copy/paste keyboard commands (ctrl C, ctrl P, etc )worked just fine, and they showed in the EDIT menu. I since bought a laptop and moved my installation there (re-install). Now the keyboard commands don't work and it doesn't show them in the EDIT menu. It works in all my other programs. What am I missing? Thanks in advance

Resetting PSP to its initial state, even shortly after an installation, often solves unexplainable glitches. To do this, first, if you have changed the appearance of your workspace save it. Then close PSP and after a minute or so (in case it is still working in the background) restart it while holding the shift key. I hope that clears your problem.

One annoyance in PSP (most versions) is that if the Vector tool is active, the copy/paste commands don't seem to do anything. I have had that happen since version 8!
