Hello,
Does anyone know of anything besides Audacity to use for sound editing? I've been working on it all day and can't get it to work. I first had trouble with sound files not being compatible, after two hours, got that fixed. Now I imported the sound file to the program and it play a couple times then now I can't get sound from the program anymore. I googled the problem but apparently, you have to be a computer genious to work with the "fixes" to get it working...maybe.
Anyway I can't get it to work on my system so if there are any other ones anyone knows about that actually work, please let me know.

Re: Audacity for audio
Audacity is simple and basic you better learn how to use it.
It works with wav and mp3 no problem, I don't know about 5.1.
What files did it ignored?

Re: Audacity for audio
If you are having problems with Audacity itself then download it again. Audacity has a decent on-line manual which you can download in.pdf format.
I record using Audacity and then save in .wav format which will download directly into VideoStudio without any problem. I always keep the two processes separate, I use my Music folder to store Audacity .wav files and access the files from VS to download into a folder on the Library page of VS. They will then drag and drop on to the Timelines in the normal way.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Just your luck, if you hurry today , you can get this

for free if installed in 24 hour.
I have no idea yet how good/bad is it over audacity.
