Sorry for making your inconvenience in past days. We've found the root cause and correct the issue from the server side. The fix will be published in 2 hours later (now it's 10:25 pm at Taipei) and you don't need to do anything from the client side. After the time point, if you still encounter the "Update Message" display, please back to here and raise your hand, we will treat it as the 1st priority to check it. Thank you for your understanding.
Update 3 hasn't been pulled from the site

Is there or isn't there an actual new update for X9?

Hi

Corel doesn't publish any new update for PSPX9 recently. The Update3 for PSPX9 has been published one month ago and the "Update3" notification should not appear to the PSPX9 version which already installed Update3. We just corrected this issue through our server side and please let us know if you still encounter this problem. Thx.

Cheers

I believe that what Joseph is saying is that the problem wasn't caused by PSPX9 with Update 3 installed. It was caused by their server not recognizing when Update 3 had been installed on your computer. So they had to fix it at their end, not with a patch for your installed PSP program. :-)

The funny thing was this whole time I was under the impression I only had up to UPDATE 2 installed — didn't realize I already had the latest build. Got excited when I saw what I thought was new :D

I am having the same problem. Upon every exit of PSPX9, I am prompted for update 3 v 19.1.0.29.

I tried renaming and/or removing the messages folders (appdata and roaming). That did not work. The prompt window continues to display upon program exit, but is blank with a "This page can't be displayed." error. (The roaming messages folder was recreated after running PSPx9 again.)

This is a brand new Win10 desktop with a new purchase and installation of PXPX9 19.1.0.29 x64 only last week.

Yes. The reset preferences worked.

Thank you.

I had help from a Corel support chat line yesterday for something similar. In the end they asked me to reset by holding down shift when I double clicked the program icon. I don't understand why but I wasn't prompted to upgrade to the program I already had again .
