I made quite a few videos before, but never have I had this problem before.
I'm making a tutorial video and I'm making short titles on the title track to sometimes give instructions on how to do something. I'm NOT using the subtitle editor.
For some reason, I'm getting attributes that I haven't selected. First I made a title at the end of the movie with the scrolling filter to show the credits. Then later I decided to go back to the beginning and add a title for the video and some subtitles to use as instructions. However, I don't want to use the scrolling text for those subtitles but it's using that scrolling filter for every bit of text I put in the video even though in the options panel, it's showing that they're all grayed out.
How in the world can that be? I have made other videos in the same exact way and I never had this problem before. I looked at every option I could possibly find and I can't figure out why it's using the scrolling filter on every piece of text that I put in the video. For some reason, it's doing it on it's own and I can't change it or control it.
If it was possible, I would make a little video of what I'm talking about to show what's happening. Now I'm stuck again with a problem with videostudio. I tried to find any possible solution that I could so I wouldn't have to spend more time going here to get answers. Video studio can be so exasperating sometimes. I think I spend more time in the forums looking for help than making my videos.
Thanks.
Please help!!!

Re: Title attributes uncontrollable
Ok, after working on it some more, I finally found out how to fix this...yet another problem with VS. I went to the attibutes panel on the title clips that I didn't want the scrolling filter applied and clicked the "Animation" radio button and unchecked the "Apply" checkbox. That seemed to do it.
In the frustrating process of trying to find out how this problem came about, I saw the "copy attributes" option in the right click menu, but I did not select that. In fact I never used that option, ever on any video. So apparently, VS copied the attributes on it's own for some reason.
Anyway, VS is a really strange animal.

Re: Title attributes uncontrollable
Hi
I realized that behaviour too, but I guess that VS simply keeps the last setting you've done, so for the larger part of the process it will keep the subtitles in the format you want them to be in.
Maybe a suggestion would be to save a subtitle in the titles window, so you can recall it anytime.
