Text Problem

I am making tags for over 30 people I put a name on the first tag, save it go to name the second tag with text tool and it automatically puts in the previous name, I have looked at everything I can think of and cannot fix this, I am using PSP x9.
I have had to go back to older version x7 to make these tags as that is working. I have never struck this before and have been using PSP since the very first version.

It sounds like you probably have the "Remember text" box checked on those versions.
With the Text tool active, hold the Shift key and click on the canvas. That will bring up the OLD Text entry window. That window has a Remember text check box. Check to see if it is checked. If so, uncheck it and you should be good to go.

I'm running PSP X8 & I have an icon on the Text Options bar for "remembering text". I'm not sure if X9 eliminated it. The icon is just to the right of <Stroke Width:> <Creat As:> & just before <Leading:> on the options bar. If there's a triangle in that place, click it to reveal the Icon. I hope this works for X9
