VideoStudio X9.5 Audio Glitch when new clip

Post by redrobo11 »

Hello all,

I have been using Video Studio X9.5 to edit my youtube videos, I notice though, when there is a new clip starting, the audio repeats itself.

As an example, one of my videos where this happens is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaQSpYE2w9I
Skip to 20 seconds in, only happens once here as there is only 1 clip with audio playing from it.

I exported this into a MP4 clip multiple times, and tried with the audio split into a dedicated audio track, i have also exported into a WMV file and the audio still has the issue, but much more frequently, not just at the start of a new clip.

Thanks for your help :D

Sorry, but I have no idea what your problem is. I watched your YouTube linked video and can't see any technical issue such as you posted. At 20 seconds in does not look like any audio repeats to me.

More useful suggestions may come with more specific details of the issue and with more details of your source video clips. Perhaps I failed to see the issue and others may see it. For example, the linked video seems to have two clips, yet your post says 1 video clip.

The doubling up of audio comes (for me at least) at 23 or 24 seconds just after the first general clip ends, and the narration clip starts. It sounds a bit like the guy on screen repeating himself as he starts his spiel, but with redrobo11's explanation it's clearly an audio glitch. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to rectify it...

Hi Ken

If my grey matter serves me right I remember a similar problem using MTS files.
The audio repeating about a second duration at the beginning of the clip.
I will try to find that post, but am sure we could not find a solution?

Are you able to upload a sample of the original video, before editing, to a sharing site Google Drive etc. We can then try on our systems.

By the way...what are the properties of the original video file, right click on timeline and choose properties, what are they?
