KVM Switches. An FYI

Post by Elderly Iron »

Be it known heretofore that VS X9 does NOT like KVM switches. I might recommend to you, the moderators, (I'm assuming you'll read this before allowing it to post) to always ask if someone is using a KVM switch as I do...or DID, anyway. I run my regular computer and my video editor using the same keyboard and mouse. (And one of my dual monitors) I was having issues with VS X9 since install. Later, I began having mouse issues with both machines. I searched the problems I was having with my general purpose machine and a mouse replacement was recommended. (I use tracball) Since I had another mouse, I went directly to each machine with its own mouse.

VIOLA! :D It cleared up a HOST of problems! It's a little cumbersome fiddling with 2 mice vying for space on the slide-out, but nothing that makes you want to put your fist through the screen... (Did I just say that?)

There doesn't seem to be any issues with the keyboard.
