Exclude PDF's from thumbnail creation

I have a bunch of folders with images and pdf documents. I'd like to exclude the PDF's from thumbnail creation when I navigate to them in the 'Manage' view of PSPx9 as the creation of thumbnails takes too long and is useless anyway.

Is there any configuration option that will exclude PDF's?

Menu File/Preferences/General Program Preferences.../ Manage.
There's a button, File format exclusions... : checkmark PDF.

Or, you could simply put your PDF's in their own folder, separate from the images.
