Needing help with an error message in X9

I code scripts that i sell in my online store. They often use the Random module to give some special effects.

Although i have no problem in running the scripts, i have a few customers who experience issues with those. Since i can't reproduce the error on my PSPX9, i can't easily find a fix for it.

Would anyone mind helping me and test it on your X9? If you are to run the attached script, are you getting an error or do you get a normal "this is a test" window?

Guys, from my understanding, this is specifically with X9 since the initial installation did not include the python libraries.

Not quite sure I understand. Do you mean it's an issue others with X9 might have because they are missing the libraries? Because Cassel has X9 and it works for her, which is why she can't reproduce the error her customers are reporting.

She can't recreate it, but the people who are having the problems with her scripts are reporting it with x9 not other versions. And according to Corel's support, they can reproduce it. But they aren't considering it a priority as so very few people have reported it.

With the original install of x9 I also saw this error when running scripts that didn't even contain the random library. It was random. But only after initial installation and before I reset my workspace. After resetting I never saw the error again.

That is exact.

Some of my customers experience the same error as we had with the initial release of the X9, but they experience it with the current and latest version, which is what puzzles me. Since a lot of my scripts use the Random module, i am trying to figure out a common denominator so i can help those customers or tweak the scripts to get them to work.

So this ONLY relates to version X9.

The post title shows this to be X9,

that's not to say that earlier versions will not have this problem as it only affects a handful of users.

Here are results of my tests:
First 3 on laptops
1. Windows 10 - 1511 version 10586.545
X9 19.0.1.8

No Error

2. Windows 10 - 1607 version 14393.447
X9 19.0.2.4

No Error

3. Windows 10 - 1607 version 14393.351

X9 10.1.0.29

ERROR

So the error seems to be related top the latest update of PSP X9 . I could not test earlier versions of X9 on Windows 10.
