X3 to 8

Post by Paul50000 »

I have 5 small files created with PSP X3, and I'd like to open them with PSP 8 (not X8).

Help!

You will have to re-save the files with PSP 8 compatability.

Open the files in X3 or newer. Then use Save AS. When you use Save As, you'll see an "Options" button in the save dialog. Click on this and you'll be able to select the file format compatability.

Hi LeviFiction
The problem is, I've bought a new computer, and temporarily I can't find the X3 disk. I have a copy of PSP 8 (not x8), and I'd like to open them with that.

You could download a trial version of X9 and use that to make the conversion if you need to get this done right away.
