AVI files burned<>unable to open

I have an older version that worked well.
i burned the .avi files on a disk and now when i open Video studio it doesn't recognize the files on the disks that i burned.

Any one know whats wrong??

Mickedee,
Can other applications like Media Player see and play them?

Hi mickedee.

When you say "burned the .avi files on a disk," it doesn't sound like authoring a DVD so much as creating a data disk.

Could you clarify exactly what you did? Can you "open" the disk and see the .avi files listed there?

Hi I burned the .avi file from the ULEAD filefolder.
I had made a VCD using that file amongst others.
I can see the files on the CD and they are marked read only and will not allow me to change that.
if i open one of them they start the ULEAD program, then it says it cannot find "kids09.avi.VSP"
