Hi folks this is my first post so hopefully get it right.
I have just purchased PSPX9 and it was n't until I'd paid for it that I realised it was the digital download version. Normally I buy the Disc version so I have
a backup.
Question is how do I make a backup disc version.
I have asked Corel direct but all I get is a list of files not a usable disc.
As I said I've always bought the disc and carried out a straight copy of that so I have 2 backup discs.
Please bare in mind I am a Silver Surfer so not up to speed with all the tech speak.

you just need to burn a copy of the file you downloaded to a disc. simple as that.
So the file you downloaded will be called PSPX9_PF.exe or PSPX9_ULTIMATE.exe depending on the version you bought.
You might want to add any patches or updates you've downloaded too.
You might want to save your serial number, the one they emailed to you, in to a text file or a document, whatever you are comfortable with.
There is a tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdwse96hsjg on how you burn a dvd in windows 10 - you want the 'with a CD/DVD player option' rather than 'like a USB drive' option.
But it's actually very simple. I suggest you get all the files you want to burn in one place. Put a blank DVD in your DVD drive. Open the drive in 'This PC.' In the dialogue that appears select the 'with a CD/DVD player option' drag your files in to the empty explorer window. and click burn in the share menu.

That is assuming that the file the OP downloaded isn't just the installer but is the full package.flagpole wrote:you just need to burn a copy of the file you downloaded to a disc. simple as that.

Re: PaintShopPro X9 - Back up disc
I always allow my downloads, installer in this case, to be saved into a sub download folder. Install on my old computer while on the internet. PSP will download all the files. PSP will continue I copy the relevant files to that new folder. Copy that folder onto a memory stick.
To install on my editing computer I simply copy that folder onto it and hit the appropriate PSP .exe file.
The only difference is a backup on a memory stick rather than a CD.

Very well. I assumed that since the OP bought a download copy they had the full installer.JoeB wrote:That is assuming that the file the OP downloaded isn't just the installer but is the full package.flagpole wrote:you just need to burn a copy of the file you downloaded to a disc. simple as that.
the downloads are here if she doesn't have them:
http://www.paintshoppro.com/en/pages/download/
PSPX9_PF.exe should be around 330Meg
or PSPX9_ULTIMATE.exe should be around 930Meg
