Audio channel duplication
I have a number of short HD (.mts) files from an interview session. Unfortunately they have all "left channel only" audio. I can duplicate the channel to get dual channel mono audio. This takes quite some time to get them all separately processed. Is there a way to use the batch conversion option in VS to get the dual channel audio without converting to .mov?.

Re: Audio channel duplication
Hi Andre
I do not think you can do that as Batch will render the video.
Why don’t you set Duplicate channel, complete the project and render the project to a new video file.
Why bother converting individual clips?
By the way Copy and Paste attributes will paste the duplicate channel from first clip to all clips.

Re: Audio channel duplication
Hi Trevor,,
Thanks for your reply. The problem with those clips is that the audio is stereo with the right channel muted, see e.g.https://www.dropbox.com/s/0sznapd7iq7zw ... 3.MTS?dl=0
Rendering out without dupliication doesn't deliver two audio channels.
Putting all the clips together and rendering with the copied duplation attribute works, but I need separated dual channel clips, because they are needed in another NLE to be edited togheter with other (2 channel stereo) clips .
Splitting up again the combined/corrected clip is not an option because the splitted clips are only available for use within VSX.
I finally batch convert all clips (~40) tp .mov. This seems to work because .mov mixes both channels by default.
