VSX9 Ultimate Total Failure!

Hello I am new to this forum and would appreciate any help.
I recently upgraded from VSX8 to 8.5 then 9, 9.5 and finally Ultimate.
I was on windows 10 but following total failure of VS I cleared everything and re-installed Windows 7 Home Premium. I have tried various
re-installs of VSX8, 8.5 and 9 and whilst I get the programmes appearing they are failing to function correctly. I cant render using smart render,
I can render without using it but quallity is naff! Lots of gliches, fuzzy playback etc. I have been in contact with Corel since Monday but so far
have no solution from them. I have provided tech info showing state of computer at time of issues via app data etc etc. I have just seen reference
to a suggestion that their "download" server was corrupted? If so the copies I have kept would still be liable to issues- I have just re-installed VS
and during the install a mysterious purple border appeared round the install window! Needless to say the progs still do not function.
Very upset at Corels lack of response - any ideas please. Sad to say I have run VS since X6 and only now do I find problems.
