Image opens behind tools

Suddenly there is a change when i open a new file / canvas.
The file opens behind the tools as in my image below.
How can i change this ?

You need to dock your toolbar. You can do this quickly by double clicking the title on the toolbar. Or you can drag the toolbar and hover over the floating dock icons. Or just try dragging it until it locks into place. Once locked the image can't end up under the toolbar.
