Same music track for all the menus with VS7

Post by vlingres »

I try to create a DVD-Video with VideoStudio7 and would like ta add a same background music track for all the 3 principal menus. This option is in grey on the list, therefore is not selectable.

How can I circumvent the problem ?

background for all menu

I think there's an option wherein you'll choose a background for all menu. Including music tracks. ^_^

Thank you Bryave. I have followed your idea, but it is also impossible for me to "select a same backgroung picture for all the menus". Can you tell me in which panel you can get these options (I only use VS7) ?

chapters

Have you made chapters to your 3 principal menus? I guess you have to create chapters from your video clips/principal menus for you to have sub-menus which will make that grayed out portion to be selectable such as selecting same background image or video in your DVD menu. ^_^

You are right. After creating a few chapters, I eventually get the possibility to select a same piece of music for all the menus. However, I was a bit disappointed : what I expected is that a same music can flow while one is moving through the menus. Instead, the music starts from the beginning each time one switches to another menu.
Do you think that the feature I describe, is available in VS7 ?
Thanks for your help.

AFAIK, it 's not -- nor is it available in VS 8 or 9 (though I'd be more than happy to be corrected!!)
