Problem creating overlay title

Post by SidGates »

My problem is I can’t create new overlay titles. I have at least 30 titles in this project that have been created over the past 2 years. I am running Studio 14 on Win 7.
I do the following: Click “Toolbox, then “Create Title:, then “Classic Title Overlay”. Next I type in the text and all seems normal to this point. Next I save it to the Title Time Line.
Instead of acting like a overlay title it is all black, no text and when I play the video the blank title blanks out the video on the video time line.
I have uninstalled Studio 14 once and reinstalled and problem still exist.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Corel doesn’t support this product any more.

P.S. I hope this post isn't a duplicate, I thought I posted it once but can't find it.

Hi Sid. Before anything else, I note that in your message and in your Profile, you mention you have "Studio 14". My concern is that you have Pinnacle Studio 14 and not Video Studio 14 (X4). If so, we don't deal with Pinnacle here. There is a separate forum. See http://forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/242/ShowForum.aspx You will need to register separately to post there.
