Sorting pictures

Post by hatchcanyon »

Switching from Lightroom I try to provide the following task:

Having a directory with - lets say - 2000 picture files in Lightroom I can sort these files according to metadata. Given the date of exposure it is possible to display pictures from a selected date only.

Now I search for the same functionality with AfterShot Pro 3?

Can someone provide help?

Thanks in advance!

Could you elaborate on the solution?
I have a similar question in that I would like to select photos taken with a specific lens.
I see the lens in metadata but do not see how to take advantage of the info.
Thanks

I now realize that I can filter based on lens by using Catalogs. I normally access photos through the File System tab.
By creating a catalog and importing the photos I was able to filter using the metadata.
