Nik Filter\Plugins from PSP X6 move to PSP X9?

Post by psphufi »

I cannot find the folder in PSP X9 in which I have to move these filters.

Can you give me an answer?

Thank you!

IIRC I just ran the Nik installer again and made sure during the installation that it targeted X9. As you will be aware, the same filters also work with third party graphics packages as well (such as Photoshop and Photoshop Elements) and you are asked if you want to install there too. Just make sure you read every box which appears during the installation process.

The Nik filters themselves are in C:\Program Files\Google\Nik Collection.

Also, if you already have these working in a previous version of PSP. You can find all of the folders that PSP looks in for plugins under File -> Prefernces -> File Locations. This will bring up a dialog, select the "Plugin-ins" type and you'll see all of the folders that PSP looks for to load these plugins.
