The reason I prefer Manage is that I can have larger thumbnails than I can get in Windows explorer. Plus, it's just a click away, and Explorer isn't as easy to access and use when PSP is open full screen, as is my Explorer. :-)

Wont happen. Corel, like all the rest of the sheep, are following along down the path that sez you have to cater for everyone. Even is that is at the expensive of your core business.

Put the cursor in the Explorer window, hold the Ctrl key + scroll the mouse wheel forwards, it will make the images bigger (or smaller if you go the other way!)

I have folders categorised, with sub folders etc. I tag images. So likely very similar to what you are doing within PSP.
Keeping Explorer half the screen works fine.

Joelle, the extra large icons that Explorer gives are still not as big as the manager in PSP. So just because they can get big icons doesn't mean they'll be big enough for every user. And giving up half of your screen real-estate for Explorer just seems to defeat the purpose of putting PSP full-screen.

Manage mode has its benefits and I'd prefer it built into PSP than as a separate program anyway. Since it works directly with the Organizer it keeps the memory consumption small while remaining useful.

I still think simply hiding the buttons is the best option if people don't want to acknowledge their existence. For me it prevents me from accidentally switching over to another view and then waiting for the program to update the UI.

Yes, those were exactly my points. Not to mention that, like with PSP, I also keep my Explorer full screen and don't want to change that.

The suggestion was for a separate optional download; not to discontinue it.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed
