Straighten Tool

Post by grinolot »

I moved the Straighten tool to a custom toolbar. Is there a way to move it back to the left side toolbar (where it was originally) or have it in both places?

If you go to View > Customize in the Commands tab, select the Tools on the left window pane, you should be able to scroll down to the Straighten tool and drag it where you want.

When you moved the tool from the toolbar to the custom bar, if you had held down the Ctrl-key when clicking and dragging you would have copied the tool instead of moving it. You see a little + sign with the mouse arrow.
So: Drag moves an element, Ctrl+Drag copies it.

If you accidentally remove a command from a toolbar or menu, you can reset to default in the customize dialog.
-Menu tab to reset the default menu bar or selected context (right-click) menus.
-Toolbar tab, to reset selected (or all except custom) toolbar to default. That would have restored the straighten tool too.
