menu that does not show all chapter points

is there a way to make a menu that does not show all the chapter points, but you can still access different chapter points once hitting play

also is there a way to have a main menu that then takes you to another page with chapter options showing?

right now it seems that the only way to have chapters is for all of them to be showing on the main menu

what version of DVD WS are you running?

If you don't use the Wizard-based menu setup, you can build your own menus structure. Just start from scratch (instead of the menu wizard or templates).

Another ulead member also sent me some very helpful information that has me well on my way now to desiging the menues I always hoped for.

It is not mandatory to put on a menu chapters but you may wish to consider making some very small invisible buttons in the "safe" area for those you don actually want in the the menu. That way, the arrows will scan through them.

Actually, you can simply add chapter-points and leave them unlinked. I've copied a couple of VHS movies to DVD, with chapters every 5 or 10 minutes, but no menu all!

I've also made a few DVDs with most of the chapters linked to menu buttons, but one or two extra chapters without buttons. I made a concert video DVD with menu buttons for each song. Then, there are extra chapter points (without buttons) at a drum solo and guitar solo in the middle of a song.

In both cases, the >>| and |<< buttons worked as usual to skip between chapters.
