CRC Error : CD/DVD Burning Update

I just downloaded & tried to install "ulead_burning3619281_pack.exe" this is the Burning Update 3.60.19.281, which I hoped would address a problem with the max write speed on my DVR-109 + Taiyo Yuden x8 discs only being x4.

However, I get a CRC error half-way through the install (in LudfRdr.dll & Ludfwrtr.dll). Does anyone else get this? Is it a serious problem or did Ulead forget to change the CRC data in the setup file? I tried downloading from both sites and both files behave the same.

And FANCY not checking all the CRC data on all the files BEFORE starting to overwrite the existing setup - PATHETIC!

Are you using a download manager? If so, try bypassing it and just use the browser's built-in HTTP download feature.

Yep, I see it on some file everytime I install one of Ulead's Products. I just click ignore and go on. Otherwise I would never get it installed...

Thanks both. Everything seems to be OK with the update after I just ignored the CRC error reported. A bit worrying nevertheless. It seems Ulead need to be more careful about checking the CRC's it lists in its update patches.
