AfterShot Pro 3 does not start (Linux Debian)

Post by uri2510 »

Hello,

my AS3 does not start any longer. It crashed whie reading a directory with > 400 RAW Images.

My solution so far:
- uninstall AS3
- clean and remove all files
- newly install AS3

It hangs when it tries to read the ~/.AfterShot 3 driectory
When I rename the directory it shows the table with the places of the directories, but this windows is white on white! :!: So I don't see anything and can't change anything. Where are the paths stored (in which file?) So that I can manually edit or copy teh file.

Thks for your help

Hello,

I just had a similar problem with ASP 2.0 on OpenSuse 42.1. Probably also after a crash I typically face once per hour

My solution:
Check in directory ~/.config/Corel if there are files Aftershot*.conf.lock or Aftershot*.conf.l<number>.
After removing them ASP started again ...

BR, Manuel
(disappointed user, using ASP only for very old camera due to convenience ...)
