Unable to install - general error to contact support

I recently purchase Corel Videostudio x9 and the download fails to install. This is a new pc build and all drivers are up to date.

have you downloaded a second time in case the first one was faulty ?

are you sure you are trying to install the programme first and not the extra content or bonus downloads

do you get any error message - if yes what does it say

You do not give any error messages if any.

Try a manual install rather than using the WebInstaller.
When you download the Main Program choose “Download Only”

Your download files are saved to the desktop in a folder I think called VideoStudio.
Although I do choose a different save location.

The main program is saved to the ultimate folder………..
VideoStudio\64bit\Ultimate

Double clicking Setup.exe should start the installation.

Was a solution ever found to this as I am suffering the same thing. When downloading X9 it gets to the 0.99GB point and then comes up with a window saying "We encountered a problem while downloading. Please check your internet". There is nothing wrong with our internet and I have tried downloading it through IE10, IE11 and Chrome. I get the same on two separate PC's, I have loads of space and I have even tried switching off the firewall and nothing makes a difference.

I had the same trouble. After a load of - in my eyes - silly ways to install, of which none of them worked I have asked for a refund. I have had it with Corel!

I never was able to install and had my money refunded. I am now using cyberlink
