I only have the old Hero 3 Black, so I have no real first-hand experience with 4K from the GoPro... It might be handy for others who have more experience, though, if you could right click on one of the clips in the Video Studio timeline and copy ALL its Properties here, or else take a screen capture of the Properties box and upload it here as an Attachment.

Have you tried using SmartProxy with those clips? And what about first putting them through GoPro's own -- and free -- Studio?

My other post in the subject...[quote hello, just downloaded and bought the full version VS ultimate 9.5. And ever since im been banging my head with the stuttering. But I found out that when I changed the sound level in the thumb nail preference from 100 to either 50 or 150 it ran smooth as water. but when im activating the "multiclip" it says that its have to change al settings to default.... and it instantly start stuttering and hangs after a while.....
soundcard video card fully updated
is it possible to permanently change the default sound level?

video clip is from a GoPro Hero4 Black

Best regards. Mats from Sweden

I work with 4K video from a Panasonic ZS100 camera and don't experience the issue that you're reporting. When editing, the use of Smart Proxy files is required. However the issue that I have is that when VS crashes, which it does frequently, the links to the Smart Proxy files disappear and the proxies have to be recreated which takes a long time. So if your VS crashes, you need to check if you're still working with Smart Proxy files or if the links have been lost with the crash and therefore must be recreated.
