Menu Windows

Post by grant9954 »

Hi all

Is there any way to change the number and positions of the chapter windows on the menu page in VS9 or can we only use the custom pre-sets?

Thanks

you can customize using the extra layouts, but they are in a fixed position. To move things around, DVD MovieFactory 4.0DC allows you to do that...

Thanks george

I make instructional videos for a dance school. The menu background has a still off the instructors and I need the chapter windows along the bottom of the menu so I don't block their faces. You say DVD MovieFactory 4.0DC could do that, thats great. Other than that will it offer me any other applications not covered by VS9? I looked at the link for it and nothing jumped out as much different than VS9.

DVD MF is more of an Authoring application with some basic editing features (while VideoStudio is more of an Editing package with some basic Authoring features). MovieFactory 4.0 will also let you re-size those thumbnails, and some other features I'm sure...

This document helps you make a decision on which is right for you (although you already have VS, but it might point out some of the differences).

Also, you might qualify for the MF4 Disc Creator Upgrade price :D

You,re right, I can get the upgrade but I don't think It'll do me any good.
I noticed in the features it says "Layout/Frame/Navigation button presets"
I would think presets means just that. I'll download the trial and hope I'm wrong.
Thanks again
