Hi all,
I'm wondering if someone can help me with a problem I keep running into in PSP X4.
I create my text as a vector and after I apply the text I can usually right click on it with the Pick tool and select "Edit Text" if I want to change something but after I do that once the "Edit text" selection is greyed out when I right click the selection again and I can't pick it.
I haven't changed it to a raster or anything and it just seems to do this automatically which is incredibly frustrating as I usually have to type out all the text again.
Any advice?
Many thanks!

Re: "Edit text" greyed out
It sounds like maybe the Pick tool has lost focus. Try clicking on the Pick tool and you should see the bounding box around the text. Now right-click and see if the Edit Text option is available.

Re: "Edit text" greyed out
Thanks for the reply.
I tried the suggestion but it's still the same. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong as sometimes I right click on the text and I can edit as many times as I want and sometimes I can't. I've honestly not changed a thing and it's all vectors.
EDIT: I seem to have found a temporary solution but it is incredibly clumsy and cumbersome.
It seems I have to select the background layer first and then zoom all the way in so that I can place the cursor inside a piece of text (as in the filled coloured part of a letter) and then left click to select the text and THEN wait for the move symbol to appear and then right click.
I don't see why I can't just select the text object from the layers tab on the right and then just right click on the text object but as I say the "Edit Text" option is greyed out if I do it that way. It seems like a bug to me but I honestly can't see what I've missed.
I'm still interested in a solution if anyone has one as this way of doing things is absolute murder so any further help would be much appreciated.

Re: "Edit text" greyed out
An alternative way of editing your text:
look at your layers palette and you will see your text on a vector layer.
To the left you will see a + left click that and another layer will drop down and have a T and a few words of your text there.
Double click that layer and you will be in edit text mode.
