Hello everyone,
I just learn the leaf blower effect in the Discovery Center and its very impressive. However, the tutorial only show the page being leaf blower but the background is black. I want to turn this leaf blower effect into a transition so that when the top one blows off, the next one will be right behind it. I tried to use the Mask and Chrome key to under lay the next photo in the 2nd track but it post 2 problems
1. The photo in the 2nd track bleeds through the photo in track even I set the transparency to 99.
2. When the photo in the 1st track being blow over, the exposed photo in track 2 is so dark I could hardly see it.
If you have a better or correct way of doing this , I be much appreciated if you could share your idea.
Thanks
leaf blower effect background

Re: leaf blower effect background
Hi
Not used Graffiti that much, so unless there is a transparency setting in Graffiti then Chroma Key should do it
With the image on the overlay track – fit to screen
Chroma Key – Mask Frame
There is a full mask adjacent to chequer board mask, that should remove the black background.

Re: leaf blower effect background
If I am reading your post properly you seem to be doing it upside down - the leaf blower clip needs to be lower than the second clip for Chroma key to work - and you do not set any transparency for Chroma key - try putting the leaf blower in the overlay and the second clip in the top track - or better use two overlays
I very quickly knocked up this demo video - sorry didn't mess with all the wiggly bits in the leaf blower clip but you should get the idea
