Text Presets in X7

Post by Mark Swanson »

So, I wanted to have a look into using the Text Presets...I have version X7. I have seen the tutorial for using the presets in X9, but when I open the Text Preset window in X7, there are no presets there- my window opens but it is blank. Should I have them, or is this something that was added in later versions?

You can save your own "Tool Options - Text Tool" as presets. Just click on the Preset button and click on the top button on the right of the drop-down, the "Save" button.

X9 is the first version that comes with presets available for download; some are free and other you pay for. And, as Forriner mentioned, you can create and save your own presets.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

And if you have X9 and also have kept installed some earlier versions of PSP then you should be able to use the free text presets with those versions as well. I don't know how far back in versions various presets for various tools work, but usually they will work for at least several previous versions as long as the tool with the presets in a newer version was present in those earlier versions.
