Lens correction Sony A6000

Post by marq101 »

And suddenly after the update the Sony A6000 has disappeared from the list with lens correction possibilities ( let alone the fact that an important lens like the Zeis 16-70/F4 isn't in the lens list)
Can somebody tell me what happened?

@marq101 --
I'm curious - you say that the Lens corrections disappeared from the A6000 list. Did you previously actually have any lens corrections for the a6000? I would love to know if ASP3 by default was intended to have multiple lenses for this camera. I cannot get a straight answer from tech support - they're basically lying to me rather than answering me.

I've installed Aftershot Pro 3 on 2 different computers and re-installed a second time on 1, and using the download for "Update 1" I only have 1 single lens for the Sony a6000. The lens I show is also useless because it has all zero values for the corrections. My first install had zero lenses.

I've been arguing for over a week to get the darn tech support guys to simply LOOK at their own install of ASP3 and tell me what their list shows for the a6000. THEY REFUSED 100%. They never once told me, after I asked them 6 times in the email chain, they just kept deflecting and deflecting, passing me to a different tech who gave me some other BS deflection. It was amazing how it truly seems like they were lying to me flat out - it was like trying to get KellyAnne Conway to help me with my software.

Worse than that, I can't even get the Save button to enable in the manual lens profile creator. There must be some non-obvious trick?

Thanks.
