Particle Illusion - where you can add some neat effects like fireworks, explosions etc to video - is pretty expensive..well it was back when I downloaded the trial years back..6yrs ago I think. Lovely programme though.
I want to add some explosions etc to my VS projects...does anyone have another programme they can recommend?
Price always an issue...I recall particle illusion being in the £100's..but that was years back..

Have you checked out Digital Juice. They have some fantastic effects including explosions and fires. I saw just a few days ago an email from them advertising lifetime membership for US$99. I didn't keep the email as I am already a member, but you might want to check digitaljuice.com to see if they are still advertising it there.

Try a Google search as well as one within You Tube while not forgetting to add the word "free".
I have collected many effects including explosions from there.
"free explosion effect" will get you a couple off You Tube with download links to get the file.
