Same as project settings Vs9 bug?

When creating a video file i use "Same as project settings" however the rendering is very slow in version 9. I always used this in version 8 and it was very fast. Is this a bug? Looks like I will have to go back to version 8, and I thought new program versions were supposed to be improvements, LOL

Do the project settings match the attributes of your source videos

If not, then you will be re-encoding to the new settings...

No they dont, so the queation is why when you select to save same as project settings version 9 seemsw to change the encoding to something else?
This worked flawlesly in vrsion 8.

Mistake, yes it does encode in the same format, but VERY slowly. I just reinstalled version 8 and it saved the file in a few minutes, 100 times faster than version 9

Can you post the properties of the file you are testing this with?
