Hi,
I'm using the multi point blur in Track Motion and it totally blocks the person I want to block when I'm in the VideoStudio x9 workspace. But when I render it/export it to a final video, the blurred individual isn't as blurred out as I'd like. The blur becomes a lot more light weight. Is there a way to better obscure the person, or apply a stronger blur?
thanks.

You can use any thing at all as a motion tracker - you could for instance use a colour block or one of the items in the 'Object' library - or even make an object of your own - and simply place that over the face you want to obscure
for instance in this short demo I have used a open circle - but it could just as easily be a solid dot - - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBTnYlPf5AM

Re: More Opaque Blur Needed for Motion Tracking
Thank you. Ok I'll give that a try. Just curious though, is there a way to darken the blur itself i.e. is there an option that only deals with the blur? Or is using a substitute image the only way to overcome the light-weight blur? Since I've already tweaked it a million times, I don't want to have to go another route unless I have to.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: More Opaque Blur Needed for Motion Tracking
Have you perhaps adjusted Transparency? Transparency may look OK during clip playback, but then once blended with the video it may become lighter like you are experiencing.

Re: More Opaque Blur Needed for Motion Tracking
Thanks for your suggestion. Is there a way to adjust the transparency of the blur within Track Motion as opposed to Customize Motion? I don't see an option for it within Track Motion but maybe I'm overlooking it. In my case I'm using just one tracker, Tracker 01 and I see an option to control the size of the mosaic, but not the transparency of it.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: More Opaque Blur Needed for Motion Tracking
You can't set it in tracing but you can save that path and use it in custom motion, there you can set opacity to the overlay.

I'll give it a shot but it might be a bit advanced for me.
Thank you.

Rocket science is more advanced and can cause more damage than video editing. Try and learn from your errors.rhm8 wrote:I'll give it a shot but it might be a bit advanced for me.
