I normally open 4 or 5 images in the "Edit" window and move them around dragging by the "Title Bar." I've noticed a really annoying tendency of PSP X9 to act as though I've "double clicked" the Title Bar about 50% of time. This causes the image to open up in what seems to be the "Full Screen" mode. The only way to return the Edit screen to normal and continue working is to click the "Fit Window to Image" item for EACH of the previously open images.
I have PSP X8 on this same machine and it does NOT exhibit this behavior. I also have PSP X8 on a completely different machine that works perfectly as well. I've gone over all the various settings to make them identical with my PSP X8 software. The problem is exactly the same using my Logitech mouse as it is with my Wacom Bamboo pen, and both those input devices work perfectly with both my PSP X8 installations.
The only strange thing I've noticed is the "check mark" in front of the "Tabbed Documents" selection under "Windows" does not go on and off as it does on both my computers running PSP X8. If the check mark is there when I open the software it stays there regardless of whether I select "Tabbed Documents" or not! And, if it's NOT there when I open PSP it doesn't show no matter what I do.
Any help will be appreciated - this is driving me nuts!

Re: Image "Title Bar" Problem
That's annoying, for sure!
I have the same setup as you, but don't see that.
I always use Window>Tabbed Documents-UNticked.
Try resetting PSP to it's default settings.
Save your workspace - File>Workspace>Save - if it's customized and not saved.
Close PSP, open it again holding the Shift key, click OK on the message.
You will need to reset General Program Preferences and File Locations.
It cures a lot of ills.

Re: Image "Title Bar" Problem
I experienced the same thing and it seems to be a bug. It happens in X9 when using a Wacom tablet for me. It will happen when you are trying to "grab" an image that is behind another one. The developers have been able to reproduce that annoying behavior and hopefully are working on it.
Unfortunately, i have not found a solution.

Re: Image "Title Bar" Problem
It's puzzling why some users see this and others don't, ditto with other bugs.

Re: Image "Title Bar" Problem
Unless someone has a specific cure for this problem I'll use my PSP X8 until Corel comes up with a fix for X9. Thanks to both Joëlle and Cassel.

Re: Image "Title Bar" Problem
I have this problem too. Like a tablet driver conflict issue.
After uninstall tablet driver, image window maximize problem does not happen again.
I dunno how to fix it. but, I guess ... wisptis.exe and... RTS conflict? not sure though.
Im using hanvon tablet.
Sorry for poor English. English is not my primary.
