I have trouble with my X8 Ultimate, now I have the same with X9.5 which i bought last time mean few days ago. During work program crash and shut down with the same standard widnows comunicate (button to close program and solve the problem by windows tools). I am little bit frustrated cause program works very slowly, playback is lagging, miniatures are loading very slowly. I am working with MP4 file's from Canon DSLR and GOPRO. Proxy files is enabled. In X8 program crashes when i try to right click file on timeline.
Please give me instruction, how install Windows and CVS. I want to reinstall my system and do it everything from beggining. I have 3 discs (SSD and 2 HDD). Sorry for my english. Regards, Karol

To help you better, post details of the videos, right-click and select Properties for each video. Also give what the Project Properties are. And tell us what filters or editing you are doing to the videos.
If some of your videos or Project Property are 4K, like I suspect, performance will be slow. Using Proxy files should help performance like you are doing. If program crashes with clicking on the timeline video, you may need to re-install VS, or one of those video files may be corrupted. Can you add just one video file to timeline and see if it crashes? Do some of the video files don't crash when alone in the timeline?
