GIF and SWF problem after Windows Update Sept 14, 2016

Good afternoon,

VideoStudio Ultimate X8 was working perfectly under Windows 7 - 64 bit. Last night, I've made a major Windows Update (15 of them). GIF and SWF would no more play in Preview Window of VS. When I tried to insert anyone of those in the timeline, I got the message : VS can't read that file.

After many uninstall / install of new updates, the problem for my computer was with :
Security Update for Windows 7 with 64 bit processor KB3175024 and KB3172605.

Sorry, unable to replicate your issue, both of those updates are installed on this computer, but both gif and swf play perfectly in VSX8 and VSX9

Hello Robert,

As I wrote, for my computer, VideoStudio Ultimate X8 is working just fine now and that since I uninstalled what seemed to be the faulty updates.

Maybe it's only my computer that had this problem.

New edit : I've made Windows Updates on my second computer. I couldn't check for SWF as VideoStudio wouldn't start. See page 16 : http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... &start=225.
