Hi,
It seems impossible to change the file output name in PSP X8 and PSP X9! I must do something wrong.
1* open the batch processing panel
2* choose an image
3* Go to batch actions and choose an action in my case resize and set the dimensions with the pen
4* go to output and try to rename the output files name (that is impossible)
I only menage to change the full name but of course in "resize batch processing" you need to add the dimensions after the image name!
So when I have Image-NewYork.jpg, Image-Huston.jpg and want to add some text after the original text after resizing like this: Image-NewYork_c_scale,w1200.jpg, Image-Huston_c_scale,w1200.jpg
How do I achieve that? It looks like you can not save the changed output file name in the pba file!?
Please some good advice!
Regards & Thanks,
David

Re: Can Not Change the output file name in Batch Processing
Next to "Filename": text box click the "Modify" button. This will bring up a dialog of filename formats you can use.
These include Custom Text and Document Name.
DocumentName will use the current filename of each image. Add this one first. Next add Custom Text. You'll see the "Custom Text" textbox becomes active. Add the extra values at the bottom "_c_scale,w1200"
When you hit Okay the FIlename will bee DocumentName:Original|'_c_scale,2100' which is a special format that PSP will use to determine how to create the output name.
