Canon Lens calibrated in ASP2 but not in ASP3?

Canon Lens calibrated in ASP2 but not in ASP3?

Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens, this is a very common lens. How was it calibrated in ASP2 but no longer is in ASP3? I haven't checked my other lenses, but I'm sure my less common ones will have issues as well at this point.
