I recently installed AfterShot Pro 3 under Debian 8 / Gnome.
I just discovered that AfterShot Pro 3 TOTALLY dislikes when sub-pixel antialiasing (rgba) is activated for font rendering instead of grayscale antialiasing.
If I enable sub-pixel antialiasing, I experience very slow rendering of my photos (with the "No image available" message instead of it) and really frequent crashes !
You can use gnome-tweak-tool to setup the antialiasing to grayscale as shown in the picture (sorry it’s in french).
Notes:
- My Debian 8 uses only open source driver (no NVidia driver),
- My PC is a Core2 Quad Q9550, 8GB, 1 screen Nec V421 1920×1080
