Audio problems when combining projects

Post by mwsing »

I have two VSP files that I wanted to combine into a single film and cut out certain sections to make the final film shorter. To do this I went into the share segment and imported the two VSP files. I then deleted the parts of each VSP file that I did not want. All this seems to go very smoothly. However, when I render and review the final product I find that all of the audio balancing that I had done on each individual project before trying to combine them appears to have been lost and the resulting film is actually unwatchable because the sound is too variable. Have I done something wrong somewhere, or is this a known problem?

Look into ripple editing. I am guessing some of your edits lost sync with the audio.
