Can't Export From AfterShot 2

I'm unable to export files after processing in AfterShot 2, nor can I send a file to be edited in PaintShop Pro X8. When I select a file for export, I get a listing in the lower left hand corner of AfterShot showing an Export Files 0 of 1 along with the pause and stop buttons, but nothing ever happens. I get the export to dialog box and click on OK, but nothing happens. When I try to edit in PaintShop Pro, it shows up in the lower left hand corner as External Editor 0 of 1, but again nothing happens -- it doesn't open PaintShop Pro.

I'm working on DNG files from a Pentax K-3 II, if that has any bearing on the issue.

I'm having the same problem with Aftershot 3

It was working just fine.

Processed a set of images for a friend and when I try to export - it seems to go through the motions and I see 0 of 47 - but it does not export them.
Tried different drive to export to.

I also see 0 of 862 images in previews - but it has been stuck there forever.
Tried to "rebuild previews" (ALT P) but this does nothing.
reboot - no effect

let it run for a while (as in hours) no effect.
Checked hard drive only 290 GB free that should be enough.

Spent a couple of hours cropping and fixing these images and now can't export them.

Going to redo in Paintshop Pro. What a bother.

Have you cleared the cache? If not, you should exit ASP - nothing will be lost; delete the directory cache in your User Folder (the location of which is recorded in Preferences); and restart.

If you still have problems after that, then my suspicion is that the queue to which you are sending the work is broken in some way. Is it one you have used before?

I noted 5,333 files being deleted would that be normal for a cache?

As I understand it, yes, 5000+ files in cache could be normal. IIRC the cache is where ASP keeps all the previews. Anyway, glad it helped you.

Dutchman, many thanks for your help in resolving my export problem. I deleted the cache folder as you suggested and was then able to export. Again, thanks much.
