Canon 80D images almost totally black
Several of my 80D images process just fine, maybe more than half of them come out so dark that moving the exposure slider all the way to the right doesn't help. At first I thought, well I'll just use another shot of the same thing, but each image of a similar scene will often do the same thing. If I move to shooting a different scene (same camera settings) they will often be fine. The dark images also have a strong green cast to them, so basically it is a green and black image. The image looks fine at first, but after about 2 seconds turns black. I shoot both RAW and JPEG at the same time and the JPEG looks fine. Any ideas? This program is unusable as is. Can I get my money back if you can't fix it? I bought this program because I bought a new camera and the old program didn't support the new camera, but ASP 3 did (or at least it says it does).

More information on the above issue - both Canon Raw converter and RawTherapee work on these files so there is nothing wrong with the file/camera. Also, it appears to be just the 80D because I clicked on several 40D raw files and they all processed fine (but they all were fine on the earlier version)

Welcome to the 80D misery club. Several other threads are also documenting woes concerning the handling of these files so you're not alone.

Re: Canon 80D images almost totally black
This is still broke in ASP 3.1, but I have determined that it only occurs when I use the Highlight protection mode on my Canon. I've turned in a ticket, and it has been acknowledged that they have reproduced the issue, but it is not fixed. Also, I am having the "no image available" issue even without highlight protection. It happens sometimes after processing 3 or 4 images and then sometimes after processing 3 or 4 dozen images and when it happens it will usually lock up in the middle of a render of one of the jpq in que. Waiting half an hour doesn't help it clear the que - it is locked up.
This program just doesn't work with a Canon 80D. I don't know that other cameras are OK, but I know the 80D is not OK with it.

It's disappointing that this hasn't been rectified. After months of waiting, I've run out of patience and feel I'm being forced to abandon yet another Corel software. So close and yet so far.

Re: Canon 80D images almost totally black
Just tried a trial version and it doesnt see any images taken with an 80D. Even though it says that it is supported EOS: 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, 70D, 80D, 1D,
I was going to go for PSP ultimate as AS3 comes with it but if it dont work there is no point
