Installing Perfectly Clear 2SE w/ PSP X9 Issue

I have not been able to install Perfectly Clear 2 SE with PSP X9 Ultimate. The installer indicates it installed successfully, however, there is no icon nor is that anyway to launch Perfectly Clear 2 SE. What am I missing?

Can you confirm that when you go to Effects > Plugins you don't see Athentech Imaging (which leads on to Perfectly Clear)?

As Ken indicated, Perfectly Clear installs as a plugin. And many plugins show up in the Effects>Plugins menu not as the name of the plugin but as the name of the plugin developer, which can make it tricky to find them sometimes.

Do you mean PSPx9 or Perfectly Clear SE? What steps are you trying to take where you expect face recognition and aren't getting it?

So i watched the video and it says that the two features, beautification and beautification 2 or some such will only be present if it can detect a face.

So i ran it with a picture of my face, no beautification. Unsure whether to be insulted or the opposite i tried some other faces, including screen grabbing the one in the demo and there was never any beautification offered.

I think you may have misunderstood the video. Perfectly Clear comes in two flavors - Pro and SE (Standard Edition). SE is the one that bundles for free with PSP. It does not have the Beautify and Beautify+ adjustment at all. If you open an image in Perfectly Clear and you don't see the Beautify and Beautify+ buttons underneath the Details and Vivid buttons then you only have the SE version.

The woman in the video is not speaking about whether or not these button appear - they are always there with the Pro version. What she is saying is that, if there is no face in the image, then selecting those buttons will not cause any changes at all to the image - that is, the automatic presets will not make any changes to the image, unlike the automatic presets that automatically become applied to any image using the other buttons.
