AS 3Pro crashing

Hi, have used AS pro 2 without problems but when i open AS Pro3 and it starts to scan my pictures folder it crashes.

Ive searched the forums and cannot find a crashlog to help me.

any ideas or help appreciated.

im on win 10 pro x64 - latest anniversay update
nvidia gtx 660Ti -latest drivers

well as always after i post a question, i went through every folder separately to create thumbnails etc and no problem, there are a lot of folders so im thinking that when i just selected my pictures it 'overloaded' aftershot.

not sure.. but its a theory.

well after trying a few things and importing every sub folder separately, no issues, took ages, thought these kinda programs were there to ease this process.

but seems to be working now, think when i just imported my pictures it overloaded AS Pro, just a throry.

but all working now

I had a similar problem when creating a new catalogue - 16000+ images would crash ASP3 after 10k or so - I found that cataloguing in smaller batches would help. Also ASP 3 would pick up where it left off after a crash, if restarted.
