PSPX9 Will Not Install In Windows 10
After paying for the new version and getting my download instructions for PZPX9 Pro I downloaded the file and everything went well until I tried to run the program. When I did I got the message that the program was illegal or corrupted. I downloaded the PSP cleaner and ran that. I then retried to download and run PSPX9 again but got the same message. Corel Support suggested stopping and restarting the Validation service and do it all over again. That didn't work. I tried several variations but never got it to start. I'm waiting for more support response. Anyone else have this issue?

As you have already opened a help with the Corel team I suggest you stick with them to find a solution to your problem with PSPX9.

Where did you purchase from/download from? If it's not the Corel website I'd download from Corel.com directly.

Re: PSPX9 Will Not Install In Windows 10
I cannot even get the program to install. I've left a message for someone to email me (last Sunday, 9/4/2016) but nobody at Corel Support has gotten back to me at all. My installer goes out, downloads the program files, then somewhere between 13 and 35% installed, it fails with a very nondescript and unhelpful error message. I am disappointed. Also on Windows 10.johtwil wrote:After paying for the new version and getting my download instructions for PZPX9 Pro I downloaded the file and everything went well until I tried to run the program. Re: PSPX9 Will Not Install In Windows 10
Did you get anywhere?
Just bought and downloaded earlier via CleverBridge today - but the installer won't go beyond the EULA screen - which displays as a borderless/scrollerless white/default window. Tried various keypresses but it's hung at this point without an error - EULA text will scroll horizontally with cursor keys only (to whitespace) but not down.
Tried launching in 7 & 8 compatibility and with DPI scaling etc but it hangs here everytime.
Had a brief conversation via chat with Corel Support who passed it over to tech, but no response so far.
Installer is Corel signed - file version is 15.0.0.498
Thanks,
Simon

Simon, may I advise you to keep an eye on the money back period and if necessary act before you're too late. It's happened to me.... passed it over to tech, but no response so far.

Re: PSPX9 Will Not Install In Windows 10
Grabbed a full refund earlier - may look again in a few months.
The full install is still on version 19.0.1.8 but it seems there have been a couple of updates already - the actual installation issue looks to be down to the version of InstallShield used though.

Re: PSPX9 Will Not Install In Windows 10
Not sure what the "automated" installer fails on, but I was able to get the installation to complete on my x64 Windows 10 machine (brand new Dell All-In-One). Here's what I did:
* Turn on Hidden Folders and Files
* Go to OS Drive (C Drive) - Users - "Your User" - AppData - Local - Temp
--If you just tried installing from the PSPX9_channel.exe (or the file downloaded from Corel) and a failed attempt occurred look newest dated folders.
* Find the Temporary folder that was created that has PSPX9_PF folder (also in .ZIP)
* Move the "unzipped" folder to your desktop for ease of use
* Launch the Setup file and follow the steps necessary for installation
You will need to have your security key available at that time.
Hope this helps out.
