I just finished tagging an entire folder from the unnamed group under persons in the collections area. I rescanned the folder for faces and it found the same faces again. This shouldn't happen as the faces have already been named. Seems like a bug to me.

What do you mean by tagging? Do you mean you assigned names to group the thumbs under People? What I have found is that if you assign names and leave the group under People then rescanning does not bring those names thumbs up again.
