PSPX9 Special Offer for new PC

Post by Phil47 »

In November 2015 I purchased and tried to download PSPX8 but my old Vista PC could not use X8 because X8 was not written for Vista.
So I was credited for my purchase.
Recently, every time I open PSPX6, it is offering me a deal to purchase X9 so, for a number of reasons not hard to understand, I decided to buy a new Windows 10 PC which arrived yesterday.
However, the offer runs out today, August 31st, and I have not transferred any of my programs to this new PC as yet so I cannot open the PSPX6 and take advantage of the special offer that will pop up before opening the software.
In fact I am faced with the daunting task of transferring all my programs so can anyone advise me the best and or easiest way to do that please?
Also, is there any other way I can take advantage of this special offer that runs out today please?

Thanks,

Phil.

If you go ahead and purchase the PSP X9 you still have some time to download and install the program. I purchased X9 on the 5 th August and had until the 18 th to use the download links. So that is about 2 weeks.

Thanks guys.
When I finally got my email working I saw there was one from Corel telling me to hurry up and buy PSPx9! Ha!
So I did and now have it on board my new PC.
But now I have to get all the files and other programs across.
Any ideas please?

You must have all the installation packages or CDs for any programs you want.

I and probably others make it a habit of when we download a program setup , make a copy of it in a special folder / flash drive etc. That way when a new system or new laptop is obtained the folder with the installation files can be moved across to the new system.
Note that some programs will only allow a set number of installations unless you have the CD version. Still others are for the life of that computer only and you must purchase a new program for a new computer.

PSPX9 Special Offer for new PC

Laplink has been running ads for sometime now saying Microsoft didn't include in Windows 10 its previous "migrate to a new PC" functionality but instead MS worked with Laplink to make LL's PCMover product as effective as possible (versus LL having to do everything on their own as a third-party developer). Note that there are different editions.

I haven't tried it but it's my understanding that LL has a pretty good reputation.
