hello,
me again, well i was editing quite fine when i was starting a new song on the timeline and videos. the yellow line just above the videos stops and no matter what i do it will not go beyond that point. how to fix it? thanks
ps i changed the format of music from mp3 to wav file and put in same folder as the other music but it did not make a difference.

Re: playback on timeline stops
could that yellow line be more orange perhaps ?
you have set a mark out point - select 'Project' mode and immediately under the preview screen you should see a white line with two orange sliders under it - using the mouse cursor slide the right end one to the very right hand end of the line - if the orange line is then still there move the left hand end one to the extreme left end of the line as well which should then make the line vanish

yes, that line was orange, lol, well I did what you advised and it worked i don't know this program that well, I am learning as I use it. I used to use adobe premire pro but they charge per month now for use. so many different things to do compared to adobe, but I do like this program and hope to learn it.

Hi websister
The Orange line is the Preview Playback Range, you are not alone usually we find this by mistake, trying to trim a clip but have preview set.
Once set we can play the selected area as project playback, we can also render / convert that selection using Share – to the bottom of the panel is the option to select “Create Preview range Only” can be useful.
