Unable to access this Web Board
I am not the only one to be redirected to the Corel Official Website when trying to access this forum, since yesterday. I tested with Firefox and Chrome (same bad result).
As I did not changed anything to my computer since a few days, I suppose something is wrong with the way the Corel Web Board manages the navigation.
JoeB suggested to empty the cache. I did it for Firefox and I'm able to access the forum (this message).
And what now... ?

Re: Unable to access this Web Board
Nothing - just carry on using the forum as usual
There was a worldwide problem with the server following some maintenance work which resulted in an incorrect re-direct - this has now been put right and every thing is working as normal - no problems currently

Re: Unable to access this Web Board
Like you and JoeB, others have also found that clearing the browser cache has rectified any leftover access problems.

Re: Unable to access this Web Board
I don't use Chrome but perhaps there was some option when you cleared that cache that you didn't check (or uncheck as the case may be) so that a remnant of the redirect still exists.Cassel wrote:I cleared my cache, and browsing history, even rebooted my computer and i still get redirected if i click on my bookmark for this forum or even if i click on the Board Index link on the top.

Re: Unable to access this Web Board
I had the same issue. Cleared Firefox cache and all's well. But it wasn't a good look for Corel. Looked very much like a hijacking to 'sell' PSPx9. Coincidence? But then I'm a natural skeptic!!

Re: Unable to access this Web Board
It was actually worse. I tried to get into the Forum by going through the Corel Canada page that kept coming up, but that only lead back to the Corel page. I tried the chat to advise Corel, but that didn't work either. Still undecided as to whether to upgrade. Given this problem, comments from others, and not really seeing anything new of value to me, I think I'll pass.

Re: Unable to access this Web Board
The problem was simply due to an accidental copy/paste of a redirect link.
It was fixed shortly after the correct person was informed.
Nothing to do with trying to push anything. It was their main page, and not even a product page.

I didn't realize that Corel was familiar with the term "fixed shortly after being informed"!brucet wrote:Cassel next thing you'll be telling us they really did land on the moon!!!![]()
